A broken hard drive

    My friends xbox HD went bad. And I've replaced it with a PC HD and install a mod chip. I made a clone of my xbox HD to his new hd. Everything works except the MS Dashboard. I've used the lock/unlock function w/ his modchip and it says that it lock/unlocks. Is there another step I need to do.

    Is the hard drive lockable?Some hard drives you can not lock.

    The hard drive is lockable. It's a 40gig WD.
