Anyone know exactly why i would get an x-box error 06. The x-box would not open the disc tray an would not start up so i took the hard drive and tray and put it in another x-box now it starts up and the tray opens but i get an error 06 with a flashing green light anyone know why??
When the HDD is locked and i put it into another x-box with a diff motherboard is there no way without modding to unlock it to use on a diff motherboard?
Nope, it has to be unlocked from the same Mobo it was married to. The eeprom on the board has the passcode to the HDD in question. Ive heard about a HD manufacture disk with some diagnostic tools(unlock the drive)to disable the security features. Where you can find it?? I have no clue...
actually you can...check www.xbox-scene.com for a tutorial. Oh, but you will need alot of patience, some skill with solder..and alot of time.
