I got a nec external burner and when i install nero (which came with it) and open nero and click on something, my computer freezes. when i remove nero, no problem, but also no burning. i'm going to try dvd shrink and dvd decrypter. i'm brand new at dvd burning and not a real technical guru so please be patient. any ideas?
I'm a newbie too but it sounds as if you have some sort of conflict on your computer. You might try the software forum or do a search to see what you can find on this site. They cover almost everything.

Hi jothrie, When you installed Nero did you install incd. If you did try getting rid of the incd and see what happens. Good Luck, HW.
