ok, so i had this divx avi file. I tried to encode it to vcd with tmpge and panasonic mpeg encoder. then i tried to reconvert it to another divx with virtualdub. then i tried hypercam to screencapture and it was a black screen. So whats up?

Does it play on your computer?

It very likely has either issues with video or it simply has some "weird" audio track like AC3 in it.

It plays on my computer. but i burned it as a vcd with nero and it reencoded it perfecto. can neros encoding abilities be used to make another video file on the computer?
