Hi guys, I have some tv shows that I downloaded on limewire, and I use DIVXtoDVD to convert them to dvd, and the use dvd shrink to burn them onto a DVD. But when I play them on my tv they look horrible, all blocky and blurry, like they were encoded very poorly. Is there anyway to make them look better? Thanks guys! I think their extensions are .mpg if that makes a difference and they are each around 50mb each.
Shrink is not a burning app, it will need DVD Decrypter or Nero to burn the dvd-compliant files... If you're unsure what the file format is, you can use Gspot to determine the file extension. http://www.afterdawn.com/software/video_software/video_tools/gspot.cfm Possibly, but the easiest way is to download the same files that are bigger in file size...maybe 345-355 MBs? The type of encoder used to encode makes a difference, also.
