I am having major problems trying to burn "Summer of Sam" DVD. I decrypt with DVD DECRYPTER & Use DVD SHRINK to compress the files onto a DVD-R DISK ( Ritek 8x ) I have a Samsung TS-H552U Dual Layer DVD Burner. My pc is a AMD 3200, 1 GIG DDR,GIGABYTE MB,RADEON 9600 PRO, MAXTOR 120 GIG HD. Software used is NERO 6 ULTRA. WIN XP HOME. The movie encodes with DVD DECRYPTER but when I go to use DVD SHRINK it stops the burn with this error message, ====================================================== Windows XP 5.1 IA32 WinAspi: File 'Wnaspi32.dll': Ver=4.71 (0002), size=45056 bytes, created 7/17/2002 9:20:56 AM ahead WinASPI: File 'C:\Program Files\Ahead\Nero\Wnaspi32.dll': Ver=2.0.1.74, size=164112 bytes, created 10/26/2004 6:35:34 PM Nero API version: 6.6.0.12 Using interface version: 6.3.1.4 Installed in: C:\Program Files\Ahead\Nero\ Application: ahead\Nero - Burning Rom Internal Version: 6, 6, 0, 12c Recorder: <TSSTcorp CD/DVDW TS-H552U>Version: US03 - HA 1 TA 1 - 6.6.0.12 Adapter driver: <atapi> HA 1 Drive buffer : 2048kB Bus Type : default (0) -> ATAPI, detected: ATAPI === Scsi-Device-Map === DiskPeripheral : WDC WD800JB-00JJA0 atapi Port 0 ID 0 DMA: On CdRomPeripheral : SONY DVD RW DRU-510A atapi Port 1 ID 0 DMA: On CdRomPeripheral : TSSTcorp CD/DVDW TS-H552U atapi Port 1 ID 1 DMA: On === CDRom-Device-Map === SONY DVD RW DRU-510A D: CDRom0 TSSTcorp CD/DVDW TS-H552U E: CDRom1 ======================= AutoRun : 1 Excluded drive IDs: WriteBufferSize: 83886080 (0) Byte ShowDrvBufStat : 0 BUFE : 0 Physical memory : 1023MB (1048048kB) Free physical memory: 696MB (713680kB) Memory in use : 31 % Uncached PFiles: 0x0 Use Inquiry : 1 Global Bus Type: default (0) Check supported media : Disabled (0) 25.4.2005 NeroAPI 11:45:41 PM #1 Phase 112 File APIProgress.cpp, Line 276 DVD-Video files reallocation started 11:45:41 PM #2 Phase 114 File APIProgress.cpp, Line 276 DVD-Video files reallocation completed (no file modified) 11:45:41 PM #3 Phase 111 File APIProgress.cpp, Line 276 DVD-Video files sorted 11:45:42 PM #4 Text 0 File Reader.cpp, Line 127 Reader running 11:45:42 PM #5 Text 0 File Writer.cpp, Line 122 Writer TSSTcorp CD/DVDW TS-H552U running 11:45:42 PM #6 Text 0 File AudioCompilationImpl.cpp, Line 842 DRM: StartDrmRecording(RealRec:1, ImageRec:0, Copies:1) DRM: Beginning burn process. 11:45:42 PM #7 ISO9660GEN -11 File geniso.cpp, Line 3293 First writeable address = 0 (0x00000000) 11:45:42 PM #8 ISO9660GEN -11 File geniso.cpp, Line 3293 First writeable address = 0 (0x00000000) 11:45:42 PM #9 Text 0 File Burncd.cpp, Line 3153 Turn on Disc-At-Once, using DVD media 11:45:42 PM #10 Text 0 File DlgWaitCD.cpp, Line 260 Last possible write address on media: 2298495 (510:46.45, 4489MB) Last address to be written: 2286111 (508:01.36, 4465MB) 11:45:42 PM #11 Text 0 File DlgWaitCD.cpp, Line 272 Write in overburning mode: NO 11:45:42 PM #12 Text 0 File DlgWaitCD.cpp, Line 2339 Recorder: TSSTcorp CD/DVDW TS-H552U, Media type: DVD-R Disc Manufacturer: RITEKG - 05 Disc Application Code: 64, Disc Physical Code: 193 11:45:42 PM #13 Text 0 File DlgWaitCD.cpp, Line 438 >>> Protocol of DlgWaitCD activities: <<< ========================================= 11:45:42 PM #14 Text 0 File ThreadedTransferInterface.cpp, Line 830 Setup items (after recorder preparation) 0: TRM_DATA_MODE1 () 2 indices, index0 (150) not provided original disc pos #0 + 2286112 (2286112) = #2286112/508:1.37 relocatable, disc pos for caching/writing not required/ required, no patch infos -> TRM_DATA_MODE1, 2048, config 0, wanted index0 0 blocks, length 2286112 blocks [TSSTcorp CD/DVDW TS-H552U] -------------------------------------------------------------- 11:45:42 PM #15 Text 0 File ThreadedTransferInterface.cpp, Line 1043 Prepare recorder [TSSTcorp CD/DVDW TS-H552U] for write in CUE-sheet-DAO DAO infos: ========== MCN: "" TOCType: 0x00; I would try uninstalling InCD. It's packet writing software and can cause conflicts by trying to maintain access to the drive and not allowing another burn application to gain the exclusive access it needs to be able to burn successfully. You can find it in the Windows Add/Remove programs list and then you should run the clean tool Nero offers on their site for removing any remains of it from the registry.... http://www.nero.com/us/InCD_Clean_Tool.html
