    Does Afterdawn have any dvd software for free to download, for viewing dvd movies on a dvd rom ??

    yes click software at the top of your browser the one I like is divx or nero

    I was planning to buy an ASUS dvd rom from Newegg. It comes with ASUS dvd software.

    Is it good dvd software to view movies & copied movies ??

    if it's powerDVD or WinDVD that comes with the drive then that will work.I got powerDVD5 with a lite-on drive.
