my xbox is really messing up it won't read my disk and i have tried to clean the lense with the cd that they provide for it. I want to know what i can do so my xbox will read the disk efficient.
Hi Flame, Are you getting the dreaded dirty disk error even after using a laser lens cleaner?? I think it may be time to change your drive or replace to laser. There are several drives availabe for your Xbox: Thompson, Phillips, Samsung, or LG...Samnsung is the most expensive drive but probably your best option here. Not much of a choice being that all these drives pretty much stink except the Samsung drive. You want a drive that reads cd-r,dvd+R/-r and is durable so go with Samsung. These are original disks or backups that the Xbox won't read?? Well, let me know how things go...Cheers
