i am having problems with connecting my computer to my xbox. it used to work fine but now it just keeps saying connection lost. i am using a linksys router. the same one i used before when it worked. i called lynksys and they said since my computer ip is 2.100 and my xbox is 1.200 they cannot connect. what do i do. do i need to change my ip on my xbox (even though i tried) or what. thanks
your pc ip needs to be 3 different to your box... ie... xbox ip is 192.168.1.200 pc ip should be 192.168.1.203 also the box should be set to use static ip and default gateway should be the same as your pc ip
