ok after 7 hours of encoding this 3.4 gig avi file movie to m2v, i ended up with something i couldnt burn to dvd..when i tried importing the file with tmgenc dvd author, an error message comes up saying that i cant use it because "the video framerate 23.976 cannot be used on a standalone dvd "..i realized that the original IS 23.976 fps, so im assuming i would have to convert the original file again to 25 fps or 29 fps..how would i go about doing this/????

I convert avi files with DivxtoDVD. With this you can force the 25 or 29fps but I have always left as automatic, the dvd always plays in my dvd player
