I installed an X2.6ce. Flashed with X5032 first and then 4983.67 because of problem below. I put in Slayers and booted and installed Evox on C:. I then backed up C and E and then FTP'd them over to CPU. I then pluged in the Western Digital 250 Gig HD. Now when I turn on xbox to boot to Slayers with 250 HD in, Slayers will not boot. SO my problem is not being able to format HDD, access IP address or do nething. I have no idea what I am doing wrong or if the HDD is just not compatible with what I want to do. I have put a 120 gig in my box and have done 40 and 80 gigs no sweat b4. thanks for ur help. XVan
its odd that it wont boot from the disk. when u turn it on does the bios you want load or does the screen go blank when u turn it on?
Well here is an update. I put the HD in my modded box which has a samsung DVD drive. It booted to disc and then i formatted HD. So I put the HD back into my friends box, then same problem with not booting to disc. So I then put my dvd player in my friends box and wala! it booted to disc. SO for kicks I put my friends phillips dvd into my working modded box and wouldnt u know, my box doesnt work. So I was able to pinpoint the problem to the dvd drive. But thats a new problem now. I would love to open this up for discussion since this seems to be a new issue. CV
hey, lately i've been trying to get slayers 2.6 to work on my box but it never will. i was wondering if you could tell me what type of media you used and maybe pm me where you got the slayers you have so that i can try it instead. i have a samsung drive.
2.6 is the latest version and on my samsung i used CD-RW by verbatim. i have heard of something called xbins (sp?) as a place to get information about applications.
xbox station will sell you a membership for 5.00 that will let you download slayers. It will be in a useable form and not the damn Bit-TORRENT.
