Sorry I've been away. Quadratic in response to your question. I do have a username/nickname setup. It's just that I can't connect. Is it normal to try server after server for an extended period of time(30 min.0 w/no response? i am on a laptop getting a wireless signal from my router. Could that be the problem?

you wouldn't happen to be trying to get onto the afterdawn irc channell would you. Coz if you are, you can use the webchat @ http://adbuddies.ccsau.info/chat/
If you go to the webchat, You'll be able to get realtime help on setting up mirc.

ah yes. the usual places... I'm quite familiar with the usual places. Jump onto the webchat and we'll see if we can help. Although I say webchat, It's actually the ad IRC channel but accessed from the net. Anyways, see ya there.
