help plz

    i am trying to burn a dvd using tmpgenc dvd author 1.6 it only exepts mpeg's so does any1 now if it has to be an mpeg 1 or 2 and what program can i use to make my avi's into them (Mpeg 1 0r 2)

    i tried winavi but had some files that werent compliant after using that

    Try Divxtodvd, DVDSanta, or Nero. There's really no need to convert the avis into mpegs.

    the only things is that i would but nero takes about 4 hrs and i like using the tmpgenc author but i will try a diffrent way

    DivxToDVD works much faster (when it works).
