I recently purchased an Toshiba SD-5372, I am using Nero Ultra Edition 6.6. I converted a powerpoint slideshows to .avi and then converted it to .mpg and also .vob , which have all played independently on several apps perfectly fine. Yet, when I burn to DVD using all of the Nero programs using several different methods it scrambles. I get the menu perfectly fine but when I go to the video the music is playing perfectly fine but the video is scrambled into 4 grayish segments with very little color. I have updated firmware, drivers, and even uninstalled XP SP2, yet still the same problem. I have even used an CD-R and burned a SVCD and still the same problem. I am in desperate need to burn 100 slideshows for my school, if you have any ideas I would appreciate it greatly. I am using DVD+R, if that helps. Thank you

Try to change ppt to avi converter! I suggest Presentation to Video Converter (http://www.geovid.com/Presentation_to_Video_Converter/).
It makes really qualitative videos and converts with sounds. User is allowed to choose the final video dimensions and sound quality...
