HARD DRIVE SET UP

COULD SOMEONE POINT ME IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION FOR A DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF SETTING UP A HARD DRIVE AS WELL AS TELL ME THE MAXIMUM GB DRIVE A XENIUM SPICE WILL SUPPORT. KEEP IN MIND I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT AND TIME IS PRECIOUS....I HAVE TWO DAUGHTERS 1 AND 3 YEARS OLD AS WELL AS A WIFE SO TIME I GET IS VERY LITTLE AND VERY PRECIOUS...PITY ME ... HELP

and select forums and ask there they will be able to give you a detailed list but not sure

the max you can go on a xbox is 520 gigs before you get the bios read error

alright we will start by you turning your f'ing capslock OFF.

it is not the chip that determines the max size of a hd, it is the bios...most of the current bios support over 250gig...easiest way to format the drive would prolly be slayer's 2.6 autoinstaller...find slayer's, download it, burn it and insert slayer's into the xbox and it will format the hd and install a dashboard as well as apps.

some people have put 300gig and 400gig into the xbox...in my opinion 200-250gig is more than enough...you may experience some data corruption with extremely large hd's.

Theres a LOAD of info out there on setting up a hdd, if you have an auto installer its very very simple. If the hdd is over 137gb you need to make sure you have a bios that is LBA patched to allow for it.
