i have a xecuter 2 mod chip in my xbox. i have about 25-30 games on the harddrive. Everything was working just fine untill yesterday. 2:00 pm i was playing and then i stopped. 2:30 i went to play again and i couldn't because the only options i see are : MS dashboard, back up, reboot, power off and settings. Can someone please tell me what the f*ck this is. i can still play games via normal cd's but i can't play the games on my hardware.
were you messing with your dashboard settings? that is what is sounds like. if you are running evox as your dash check your .ini file (usually named evox.ini) and check the settings.
yo man, I cant get into my Ms dashboard, when I try to go into it, it just goes back at the strange menu I mentioned after a few seconds. And what am I supposed to check in my settings?????? Thanks for the info deepzp1. P.S: talk in easy english
(do you know how to transfer files from your xbox to your hard drive) do you have an 'ftp' program yet, like 'flashfxp', why not take the easy way out. Unless you deleted them, the gamfiles will still be on the hard drive. Why not stick em on the pc, and re-install evox, problem solved. Then you can transfer them back over into the folders evox will have created for you. Jim

do you have an auto installer? (was it setup with one) also do you have an evix boot disc, that way you can connec tto your computer to check out the c:\ on your xbox and rectify it possibly drag your games off the xbox too if needed.
