connecting cam to pc

    hi anyone help me out here!?

    ive recently purchased a jvc gr-dx67ek camcorderand i am having difficulty connecting my cam to my pc.have purchased a firewire card etc & am using video studio 7,but theres still no sign of my cam. anyone got any ideas whats up?? im using win 98se edition.

    Your new Cam must have come with some cd-roms right?

    I know mine did, and on those cd-roms you should find drivers and software you'll need to install so your PC will recognize it.

    I assume your connection is firewire? When you installed the card does your PC recognize it and have the right driver's for it?

    Is it a PCI Firewire card?, And, how old is your PC?

    I assume it may be a little older because you're using 98se.
