First of all, hi all~ Jay in Vancouver, BC. I need some help with my recent HD purchase. I have v9 PS2 with M Chip 3 mod. Never had any trouble playing original, backup, and PAL games. However, when I try to copy backup games onto the hard drive using HD Loader v2.0, it would complete anywhere between 9~30%, then a notice saying that the disc is unreadable pops up. Does anyone know what the problem could be? I would appreciate any help I can get. Thanks and have a great day ^^ p.s. copying original games are ok with the chip off.
okay it can be one of two problems. 1. Your mod chip is on. when you store the backup right? that can be the Problem. or 2. Your HD Loader (Whichever one it is) does not support backup converts of DVD-/+ or CD-R . Sorry.
Thanks for the suggestions, but I don't think that's the problem. I tried copying the games with the chip off and originals would copy just fine, but the console wouldn't recognize the backups. It just might be the HD Loader... but the instruction that came with it says that it will work with backup and import discs.... dang....
