ILO DVDR04 and XBOX

When I am on Xbox and hooking the Xbox through the ILO dvd recorder I get a couple second lag with any type of movement in the video game. Like moving around and such. I have tried using the AV composite cables and also the S-composite. Nothing seems to solve the issue. Also the color display for the video game is off as well.

I called ILO support and was transfered to level 2 support. They advised me that the ILO dvd recorder is not meant to process the xbox signal. SO if that's the case then how can anyone even hook a VCR up to it and have the VCR signal displayed correctly? Especially since most VCRs use A/V composite cables?

I do have the most lated updated firmware they released as well.

Anyone else have problems with xbox displaying/playing correctly through the ILO dvd recorder?

Anyone have no problems at all?

    cafonez,

The reason for the lag is because the input signal is being processed and converted to mpeg before the output. The output is not a direct signal from the source.
