I dont know if this is the right forum for this question, but does anyone know what could be wrong with a tv I want to repair. Its an older model 19" Sanyo, turn it on it has sound, but black screen and a horizontal line across sceen......
Someone trying to run a Progressive Scanning image through it, though i cant see why it would settle? Is the tube firing up every time ok? Chris
yeah it comes on then pic goes black with a thin line across sceen, but I hear the movie or tv programs sound
Have you tested the circuit on the tv. Im no TV expert, but i know that you can get a meter and test various sections of the circuit if no picure and/or no sound is present. Sorry i cant really help you, good luck Chris
