Trying to burn a few movies, and using DVD Shrink and then DVDDecryptor to burn.
I put the black DVD+R into the drive, and Decryptor popped up an error message that said the disc wasn't empty. So, the movies didn't burn.
This only happened after I had updated DVD Decryptor, and also installed DVD43 to help with The Grudge.
We're using Maxwell discs, which we've never had a problem with before.
Any idea what this could be?

if decrypter said the disc was not empty, then you have already used the disk for something. so use a different one, and see what happens.

Yup, sorry...I meant blank. Just purchased yesterday.
Also, when I put the disc the movie supposedly burned on into the drive, it says the disc is empty.

DVDDecryptor is giving me the error message, and then a Stand-alone as well as PowerDVD and WinDVD are saying there's nothing on the disc.

what kind of writer do you have.
A friend of mine was trying to use a DVD ROM drive.
You might have the wrong type input in DVDShrink, check create ISO image to burn with DVD Decrypter.
