My friends just sent me a copy of National Treasure on two halves. So I am using MPEG2VCR to put them togther. But anyways, the copy he sent me came with subtitles on the top and bottom that are constant throughout the movie. How can I remove these irritating subtitles?

The only way to remove the Subtitles is to Crop them out of the Image which you can do while encodeing them to Mpeg-2 useing something like "Tmpgenc Pluss/Express" ...

This will have a Dramatic Negitive Impact on the Video because you will have to probably Crop off a good deal of the Image to remove all of the Subtitles, especially if they are on the Top and Bottom......
