I was wondering if their is any program or anything that wourld allow me to put a password on the dvd-rom drive to use it and open it. Or if theirs any way i could configure windows xp home edition to prevent other users from using the rom-drive. Any information is appreciated.

i tried to do something with the computer management through removable storage and then libraries. Then by clicking on the properties of the drive and then clicking the security tab and clicking deny permision on the use, control, modify boxes. However this for some reason wouldnt work. Any other suggestions reasons why the way i said wouldnt work.
