if there's an NFO file, open it with wordpad and there might be instructions on how to use the files. If not....then whomever packed the torrent is an idiot.

Well, the NFO file you should have got would have contained these intsructions...

[bold]The Auto Update MUST BE INSTALLED before you install any actual DLC.[/bold]

    Install Instructions:

    1. Either get all the updates by logging into XBOX Live with Halo 2 or run the installer on your xbox and select the Update. After it says you have copied the update to the console you will need to move it to it's proper DIR to make Halo 2 see it.

The installer places the update within /E:/TDATA/4d530064/$C/4d53006400UPDATE/*.*

Move the 4d53006400UPDATE Folder to /E:/TDATA/4d530064/ and rename to $u

    2. After you have insured you have the Auto Update installed. Choose to install Both Of The Map Packs.

    3. Reboot and Enjoy on Live.

[bold]Here are my basic instructions that are easier to understand than the directions above...[/bold]

    1) Send the entire Map Pack folder w/ everything in it on to your Xbox's HD (I recommend just putting it in your games folder)

    2) Install both map packs, and the auto update if needed

    3) Go back into your Xbox's HD using any ftp program

    4) Go into this folder on your Xbox's HD /E:/TDATA/4d530064/$C/4d53006400UPDATE/

    5) Grab this folder 4d53006400UPDATE and drag it back to your desktop

    6) Now on your desktop, rename that file to $U

    7) Drag the $U folder back into the /E:/TDATA/4d530064/ (note: you should see another folder with $C in it)

    8) Reboot your Xbox, and your done!
