does anyone know of a good 3gp video converter? i have a p910i with a larger than standard memory card and would like to put some movies etc on it. i tried using ashampoo movie shrink and burn(mpeg4 format) but it would work. also are there any other file types that it will play. thanks for any help.

I have the Xilisoft application to convert to 3GP. However, I find that I can only convert from wmv or avi. Converting from mpg doesn't seem to work although it seems to be valid format. This may be due to the fact that I have an unregistered copy. Also if unregistered, you are limited to clips of no more than 5 mins. I am also trying out the Mobile media Maker from Makayama. This is easy to use, however, it doesn't convert all avi files...some types of avi files it hates. Secondly, you can't convert from wmv which is a common Microsoft format (for eg used my Movie Maker). If you have a wmv file, you have to convert it to another format first. It always saves the converted file with the same filename which is annoying when you are converting more than 1 file. It has lots of other oddities. I certainly wouldn't pay to register this, but if you have small files less than 2 mins then it quick and easy. It also converts DVDs which I think is the main purpose of the software.
I thought 3gp was worse than MP4? I cannot find a easy all in one converter from DVD or video file to a format MP4 for the K750i anywhere. there seems to be so many settings which is why like a all in one. I have found a few for the Sony PSP, will these files work on the K750 if the resolution is lowered a bit to its screen (176X220) cheers
