As some of you might have noticed already, we've been testing preview functionality with message reply pages during the last 24 hours. The feature is still considered to be "public beta", so it might or might not work as expected. We hope to finish the testing today and take the preview system in use on all of our forum forms.

I was typing a post and saw stuff happenin above, and when i hit enter the whole thing moved down, i thought WTF.

I think it is a good idea, shows what the actual post will look like, BUT i would like it if u had a REPLY and PREVIEW button, so u hit preview and u basically see what it will look like, then hit REPLY if u like it kind of thing.

Just my two cents worth :-)

Blah :-) I finally figured out something unique and people want to have the everybody-has-one-of-those instead. New ideas are always the hardest to sell to people, I guess ;-)

noticed it earlier on at work. I'd probably prefer a preview button too as opposed to words following you type across the screen. However I'm sure the final product will be much appreciated. There are various types of preview on some work-related forums i frequent and they work very well..

Maybe if you want to keep that, have a toggle on/off button?
