my xbox was softmodded with 007 and it worked fine i put in this disc that i downloaded witch was supposed to be dub edition but turned out to be some auto-intstaller type of deal.... it caught my attention with all of the cool skins it had in there and i installed one and restarted the system.. it worked fine.. but on the menu there were options and one of them said ghost recon 2... i didnt have that game inside the tray so i clicked on it... it was the msdash.xbe that i had ended up clicking on and now my xbox loads up error 21.... every single time it begins to load the original xbox dash but never does it goes so far into the green then goes to the error... this will not allow me to play any type of disc on the inside... ( i did back up my system if that helps i just need to know how to fix it now if i cant ftp inside it )
From what I can understand about your problem. The easiest solution I can think of would be to get ur hands on a copy of Slayers Evox Auto Installer, and use it to format ur HDD back to factory default..
yeah i had the same problem i thought i killed my xbox but you can actully fix it. my friend fixed it for me, he had backup files of my C and E drive, he took my xbox HDD out and connected it to his PC and some how put the xbox files back into the xbox HDD,then he put it back in my xbox and it was fixed. theres some tutorials on how to do it over here www.xbox-scene.com

yea download azureus and then go to fulldls.com and then type in slayers and it will allow u to dl v 2.6
hey do you think u could ask your friend how exactly he fixed your xbox just so everyone encountering this problem could refer to this in the future, and also give me an in depth view on what to do exactly ... that would be appreciated
