MP3 Encoder

I have purchased Nero 6 Reloaded today & have installed it. I have ripped a cd but in MP4 format. I have tried to do 1 in MP3 format, but get the following message.

'Your mp3PRO trial encoder has expired. To add UNLIMITED mp3PRO & standard mp3 encoding, all you need to do is purchase the Nero mp3PRO encoder plug-in from.....'

Why can't I change it to mp3? Why do I now have to purchase an encoder, I thought I could just install & off I went. Can anyone please advise?

don't use nero to rip CDs. use EAC (exact audio copy) with LAME. Its the best ripper/encoder there is. Here is a step by step guide on how to install and use:

Can I use the Lame encoder withe Nero, after just forking out for Nero 6 Reloaded? Is there a download for a Lame MP3 encoder or shall I just use the link in post 2?

I presume it'll work along side Nero? Do I just install no 2 on the link?
