Alright I have figured out how to put my own text into the LCD screen. Thats great and all but what else can i do with this thing. Surely thats not all i can do with it. I would like to use it as a DVD time counter or progress meter on copying games to the hard drive. But do not see any options for anything like that anywhere. Any info would be great, thx in adv.

I just installed the X3 Control Panel, and am trying to enable the LCD. I've got Slayer's AutoLoader Software. Can someone please help me out. Also, did you find anything other than the text to display on the LCD? Thanks. JaYh99
Only text can be displayed on the LCD screen. What you guys need to do is get Xbox Media Center (XBMC) on your Xbox and in that program go into "settings" then "system" and you can add the LCD support + many other cool options for the LCD screen.
DVD2XBOX also supports the LCD, it will tell you how big a game is and how much of it left when you're ripping. Kinda cool. What do you guys' LCDs say? Mine says "Myyyy Precioussssss" hehe think Gollum.
Can anyone tell me how to get back to the initial dashboard that comes up after installing the mod chip/slayers? There was one that came up with some system options, and then had a link to slayers dashboard, and I ended up using that interface to tell it to use a different dashboard. Now with slayer's dashboard as my default, I don't know where to go to switch it back so I can enable the LCD on my modchip. Thanks.
