Paul,
By posting all the information you have, email, homepage, etc., you are priming yourself for a spambot attack. Malicious people scan websites for just such info.

Good luck and you should probably just email Epson and ask for a new disk. It doesn't seem to be available for download anywhere, only the drivers.

Nice piano playing!

Have sent you the print cd app as a .rar this is 2mb, just email back if you need anything else. The disk is nearly 300 MB so you will have to have it in parts.

I was browsing for the same thing & I cam accross this site. It is unfortunate that most of the big dogs out there don't provide easy places to find there software. The Epson Austrailia site has it & it works flawlessly.

Hope this helps. It is frustrating.

OK ...... bellow is a link where I have made a winrar copy of my disk. This link is to my server where you can get the whole app that came with my R300. Hope this helps. I will leave this on the server for a little while ...... a week or so as it is a fairly big 200+ mb file and I don't want all my band width eaten up, so get it while you can.

I just purchased an Epson R200 and I have two problems:

1. I don't like the limits on the Epson Print CD/DVD software, specifically the text options. Also, images cannot be enlarged proportionately or moved to cover the disk template. Am I missing something?
Does anyone know how to get a photoshop template that I should be able to import into the Epson Print as an image?

2. After printing on a printable CD as a test, waiting 48 hrs (as opposed to 24 hrs recommended) licking finger and wiping on CD smears the image. I have tested the print density, but would rather not reduce it. Does it ever dry or do I need to use the spray sealer I read about? Also, if using a sealer - does anyone know of long term playability problems?

Thank you.

IT WAS dry you "rewet" it by licking it

that is not avoidable that has to do with the surface of the disc not the ink itself. the ink IS in fact water/alcohol based it is inevitable that if you REWET IT its gonna smear

dont rewet it :-)

if you click on the same icon you use to set image background you can click image adjustment and make changes to scale and posotion. best thing make a template in photoshop do your text there import into print CD as a image.

Thank you. I was using picture instead of background and didn't realize that adjustment was there.

As for the image rewetting . . . We have children and wanted to make sure the DVDs we print on for our children to use as well as ones we sell cannot be that easily smudged. What about the Acrylic Gloss Sealer that I read about on this forum? Have you used it and does it affect the playability of the DVD in the future?
Thank you.

Also, can Epson Print CD import a Photoshop ".psd" file as an image? Or do I need to save it as a different file extension?
Thanks.
#15 03 Jun 2005 @ 16:54
I am not sure but I would just save it as a jpg less of a headache

as for sealers I imagine they would work the trick would be to make sure you dont get any on the DATA side of the disc

basnet could you reopen your thread.

This software has now been stopped by epson and costs £10 on proof of identity.

Thanks

Hello all,

I too am looking for the software that came with the R200, mainly the print cd software. (Epson's ploy of charging $10 + shipping for a replacement is ridicules. I have a feeling I'll be putting in my kazaa shared file for a long time.)
#21 17 Jun 2005 @ 10:49
bassnut, could you please re-host this program on your server (or if anyone knows how i can get this program, please tell me!)

I too misplaced my original cd and need the printcd software for my r200

any help is greatly appreciated...
thank you

guys I could not be any more confused...i just wanna have a template in photoshop, design it, and print it on a dvd on my r200. i have tried making a template, it's pretty accurate actually...but still bleeds into the center, and when I wipe that off...it screws up everything. there is like 1 template i found online but its like 2 inches off....pllleeaaasseee heelp me!
#23 21 Jun 2005 @ 13:49
good news people!
after a ridiculous amount of searching, i found the printcd program in english by going to filesearching.com and searching for "printcd"
pick the first link out of the three results (it should be the english version from the russian site)and use a program like getright or flash ftp to get the files.
you'll have to download all the setup files one by one, but the server is fast and the program works perfectly.

I actually just bought another printer. I do video transfer to DVD, so needed another one anyway. Once I do get the CD, know anywhere I could host the files for everyone to download?
