i have a softmodded xbox done by 007 AUF i just recently downloaded X2 bios i was wondering how you flash the bios on a softmodded xbox without screwing it up... i just want an updated version of things
I don't know too much about soft modding, but if you're at the stage that you're able to run unsigned code, the slayer auto installer v2.6 has a bios flasher with pretty up to date bioses (AFAIK). But i'm sure xbins would have just the utility, without the rest of the 2. whatever gig d/l, lol. You would just need the bios files then, if you were to go that route. By memory they have those files aswell. Are we still able to give instructions on how to get to xbins? or is there a guide up somewhere? Requires an ftp proggie, such as flahfxp, and an irc program such as Mirc. Good Luck, and have fun.
