I have an external dvd burner. I am building a new computer and i wanted to put a dvd burner into it. Since the external burner is practically brand new i wanted to just try to put it into the computer. If anybody has any idea how or if this is possible please let me know. Thank you very much.
an external is basically an internal drive in an external casing. so take casing apart carefully & make certain the jumper is in either master or slave when put into the computer
Well actually yes, if you can find a way that the burner fits, there is a way to connected easily without having wires going from the inside to the USB port, You can buy those USB 2.0 cards that have 4 external ports and 1 internal port then you could buy a cable and passed inside the computer and connected to the USB card internally, although I dunno if the burner will correctly fit into the case
