My friend tried to mod his xbox and accidently deleted the files off the hard drive and he couldn't get it working after that so he gave me the xbox and kept the mod chip. What files would I have to put on there and how would I do it??
If you could get a game to boot from the DVD drive, you could soft mod it. If not, then I'm not sure how you could get it going without a modchip.
With a modchip you can use AID 2.0 and reinstall the M-Soft dash and a hacked dashboard and all the apps. I'm not sure if he deleted some executable files which won't allow the dashboards to boot??? Do you get error 16??? Keep us posted.....later
Just reinstall your dashboard and everything should be just fine....The Xbox seems to be having trouble finding the dashboard because some files may be corrupted..yada..yada
