I need help on how to connect a ilo dvd recorder to my tv so I can record from the tv. I have it hooked up now to where I can watch dvds but it won't record anything but a blue screen. What am I doing wrong? I have dish network, but in my bedroom it is just the cable from the box in the living room. I have it hook into the dvd player and then a line from it to the tv. Thanks in advance.

When you say box, do you mean satellite reciever. Is the cable an RF one from the reciever. Does your bedroom Tv have RCA jacks for TV input. If not. does it have RCA game - etc. jacks on the front? They will most likely be mono [single audio jack]. The ILO tuner is mono.
If no Game jackss, do you have a VCR that you can put before the ilo?

yes I have all the jacks and have tried connecting in so many ways, I decided to just take the dvd back to the store and get my money back. I just bought a regular dvd player and am gonna buy the stuff for my computer to hook up to the tv. Thanks anyways, but it was just to flustrating so I gave up.
