XBOX versions difference

    i wanted to know if there are performance differences between

    the first version of the xbox to the last (1,6b)

    (mine is dated 04/02

    As far as I'm concerned the only difference would be the components and the ease of modding....performance really isn't an issue.

    Yeah, the motherboards in all versions are very similar to one another, with a few differeneces here and there. Basically it is just components that are changed, because for the most part Microsoft wants to use cheaper (but still good) stuff in the Xbox's to save some money.
