Xbox major eeprom problem desperatly need help

i have a 120 gig hard drive that i got off some n00b its locked with his eeprom , i have his eeprom from his xbox that he sent me in an email his hard drive has lots of games on it and i don't want them to go either and the xbox wont boot at all with the hard drive in it i just get the red and green eject button error what i want to do is take his eeprom off and put mine on so it works in my xbox anyhelp people?

yes it has a chip in it

 

I don't know if you have any other options using your modchip, but the way I do it when I screw up a HD is by creating a windows startup disk with HD lock/unlock programs on it and then I'm able to disable the lock on the HD and format it or just modify it as would be your case. AS long as you have the eeprom you should be fine from the xbox it was locked with you should have no troubles. So this will be a long explanation on how to do all this, and I'll need to re-read the forum rules before I give you any links to the stuff you read. Reply back and I'll let you know what you need to know.

so did you do it using a boot-up disk or is their some other way I don't know about?

 

i basically created the linux hdm maker with an eeprom the guy sent me and went generate key from hdd and it generated a password and key i wrote these down. i then created a floppy disk with atawpd,unlockhd,lockhd and dissable. i then used the password to unlock the hdd and i used the password to dissable auto lock i then took the hdd outa my pc and put it in my xbox it booted to my evox dashboard and i have config magic on that dashboard i went into config magic and selected the option lockhdd and it auto locked the hdd and had no probs and shouldn have ne

 

but maybe u can help with a new prob ive got im trying to fix my mates xbox ive never seen ne thing like this problem when i plug it in and hook it all up i go to boot it up and it boots 3 times then goes to flashing red and green on the eject button but i have no video so i cant find out wat error code it is i was wondering if u have ne info on this?

 

im trien to lock my hd but it wont let me. i typed tha command to type tha password but it says invalid password. and i dont have a eeprom.
