PS2 CD TO DVD

this will convert ps2 cd's onto dvd

what you need

scanlite v 3.7....>google for it

isobuster
nero (burning rom)

open the bin image with isobuster

drag all the folders listed,one by one into a new folder,taking note of the order

open scanlite,and browse for the folder you just put the files/folders in

click dvd....(if the game was originally a dvd rip,you must click restore first,then scan all the files/folders,etc)then after this..

scan all the files/folders,etc

open nero burning rom,and select udf/iso option,....click new

open the folder with all the files/folders in,(get both on the same screen,its easier)
drag over the folders etc into nero(column on the left),dont worry about the order that thay appear in nero

[bold]as long as you drag them over in the exact same order as they appeared in isobuster you will be ok[/bold]

burn it onto a dvd

its not gauranteed to work,as some games have lba checks in them,so dont blame me

I have 2 games that don't seem to work using this method. Woody Woodpecker and Maximo Ghosts to Glory. Any suggestions?

I tried to find it at alucard but it wasnt there... and ps2nfo wont let me visit the site... I dont guess maybe you could host it somewhere?

I've not tested yet, but, does it work with Swap Magic? After converting the CD game to DVD game does it work with Swap Magic DVD ou CD?

you will need to use dvd version of swapmagic as you would normally boot dvd's

 

Yea... I just used it on a game with my swap magic 2.0 dvd disc... Works just fine.

by putting a game on a dvd cd and or turning into a dvd game it will still work proberly yes? i am not good at this kind of thing atm but learning. sumeone plz help me.

 

yes it will still load ok,
the whole point of converting a CD game onto DVD, is to stop the disk from spinning so fast

hi hursty i wonder if you can help, madagasca wont load beyond the opening dreamworks intro just locks after that ...i used alchohol and disc juggler both the same result ,i use magic disc swop by the way,looked on disc swops site and no sign of a patch (

i backed up madagasar from a cd copy

used iso buster to extract files
nero dvd the last offer of disk type cant remember what it was called

changed a coulpe of setting burnt works great

there is a good post on here somewhere about setting in nero will search for it and post link
