How do you install Slayers? I have to burn a dvd and do it that way, I dont have the ability to do it the other ways indicated in the forums. Can I get simple instuctions? I have an X3, X3 bios installed already. Is this a good combo w/ Salyers? Thanks.

I just did that. I converted it to an ISO then burned it. When I put it in it just hangs at my main screen ( XBOX...Executer rox my box.) Im done. I dont even get the regular M$ dash anymore, it just hangs on that same screen. But if I put a regular game in it works fine. Any ideas? Can I link my Laptop to the xbox without the dash installed? I have the cable, FlashXP, Craxtion, Quix.. If I link them. I could load the dash. Right? Sorry to dump but im frustrated. I have been reading and surfing the forums. It is not easy. I bought my chip 1 month ago and still can't make back-ups. :-(
Have you flashed your xecutor chip with a proper bios? If so then your box will not boot slayers. Find out what version of xbox you have, make a bios disk, flash your chip, then your can boot and install slayers. I'm not sure what bios is on your chip, but mine came with the "legal" linux cromwell bios. You can't boot slayers from there as far as I know. Go here: www.xbox-scene.com and click on tutorials. Everything you need to know about flashing your bios or anything else is there. Xecutor also has some pretty good tuts on their web page. You'll have to get your bios from the an IRC channel, or newsgroup, or some other P2P prog.
sorry to jump in on this post but my Slayers has been copying files onto my box for the last 4 hours now, should it take this long??
are you sure you used the correct bios? if your xbox is a 1.6 did you use the 1.6 version of the bios?
my box is a 1.3 and i used the latest X3 Bios. It seems to be copying files still but is taking forever!!!
you should prolly just stop it...my question was actually for the guy who can't get past the "rox my box" screen.
did you try and boot to configlive like i suggested before? @shinnister just stop the thing or it will go forever...if it didn't work you can always try again.

i got the boot disk to finaly work. It is an evox disc w/ dash. I posted a new thread stating that Do you need an internet connection. If you guy would be so kind to read and reply. Thank you sooo much for helping.
