Once I have ripped the parts of the DVD I want, I have 3 VOB files in the VIDEO_TS folder. I tell Dr. Divx that is what I want, and it does what it does and comes to the select audio parts. I know I ripped it with audio, but it doesnt see it for some reason. It doesnt let me select any tracks in the wizards. Some one please help, I am just starting to play around with divx/xvid.

If you have a P4 with Hyper Thread audio will not work unless you stop one of the processors. Go to Task mgr right click on Dr Divx and then go to set affinity. Un click one of the processors.

    Good luck

Okay - forget Dr.DivX, use AutoGordianKnot (AutoGK)
    http://www.afterdawn.com/software/video_software/dvd_rippers/autoGK.cfm
"AutoGK is powerful and a very easy to use tool for making DVD rips."
The VOBs have the DVD audio within them - AutoGK will offer to demux the audio, or you can do it yourself (to use the AC3) with DVDDecrypter in IFO mode, Stream Processing enabled.
