Hello, Ok My Dvd-Rw is not reading the blank media I purchased today. TDK Dvd-r 8x. I had the same problem with the previous media I purchased (and will never again waste my money on) Memorex crap media. I have never had a problem in the past with the TDK brand. I have other backups that work fine with the same media brand. Can anybody point me in the right direction or maybe give me some advice on what to do? PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE help me :-( The firmware is the most uptodate. In fact its not reading anything. Any suggestions would be GREATLY appricated. Thanks Let me know if you need anymore information.
Ok correction, I uninstalled XP service pack 2 and my Dvd-rw is now reading other disc's now the only problem is it will not read my new blanks. Its like there is no dvd in the drive at all.
