i have an xecutor 3 chip with an avalaunch dash board. how do i ftp my xbox to my laptop. i have all the hardware and software needed. setting up my router is a headache. i need help will someone walk me through it step by step?
how is setting up the router hard? plug it in, plug your xbox into the router...the router will automatically assign your xbox a ip address, check your network settings in avalaunch, make sure they are setup for dhcp.
This Guide isn't for the FlashFXP program or the micro program but you can just PM me if you need help on finding where to download it or help on using it. ok.. IF you your computer is connected to a Router and your modded xbox is connected to the same router.. then can connect your xbox to your computer through ftp.. It is that simiple (This guide may not work if you modded Evox on your xbox. try It any way thou. and tell me if it work) Step- by -Step guide 1. Connect your xbox to the router and your computer to the router Wow... IS that hard ---------------------------------------------------------- 2. YES,turn off your firewall. It's better to turn off your fire wall instead of setting it up which may take minutes to hours. If your not surfing the net.. then noone is going to hack into your computer will your firewall is off. Just right click on your fire wall icon that is location on the bottom right hand side of the screen and click disable it. Note: but be sure to turn it back on atfer your done with ftp!!!!! ------------------------------------------------------------- 3. Bring up your internal Explorer bar 4. In the adderess bar.. Tpye in ftp://xbox.xbox@<Current IP> Ex: ftp://xbox.xbox@123.234.1.234 -------------------------------------------------------------------- Yes.. type in your CURRENT IP. This can be found in System>Setting>Network on your modded xbox .Here is were everyone mess up alot.When it come time to type in your Current IP, people tell you to type in your IP Address. THat's wrong. EveryTime I try to long into ftp with my ip address. it doesn't work. ------------------------------------------------------------------- 5. If you see folders with letters on it then your done. Now was that really hard. Question 1. It won't work Step by Step a) Check to see if you have a green(green for xbox)( or any color for other hardware ) light on your xbox,your router and computer. Xbox- check on the back where the Cable is in Router- Check Your Link/Act port that is on your router. See is your port light is on Computer-check on the back where the Cable is in If that didn't help then your information in Address Bar is wrong Step by Step 1. Turn on your xbox 2. You such see Enable User Password Ex: Enable: YES User: KILL(most of the tim it will say xbox) Password: BILL (most of the time it will say xbox) Make sure you have it enable(YES) ok when you got back to the internal explorer type in ftp:// <User name> . <Password> @ <Current IP> ex. ftp://KILL.BILL@123.132.8.324 Click enter and it such work.
