can be both wireless via bluetooth (up to 7 supported) or a wired version which plugs in via usb 2

Go on www.gamstation.co.uk and it will show you the ps3 and othere stuff i have went of the ps3 all ready coz of the controller take a look people.
I have all consoles and Hand held consoles from 1988 to 2007.

Xbox 360 = 4 wireless controllers.

4-player = eye-squinting
7-player = eye-gouging
I know that the whole 7 player is most likely going to be for sports games and such, but could you imagine a 7-player split screen on a fps? What a riot, hahahaha.

I was reading an artical about the PS3 and it said when you play a game besides a sports game if you were to use your PSP that would be your Screen and you couldnt use a TV!

can u imagine 7 peoples on one of those tiny black n white Tvs at walmart 4 40 bucks?? lol ur screen would be like 1 inch by 1 inch

Dont forget the PS3 is supposed to have two HDMI outputs, so theortically you could use on ps3 between two HDTVS (which are usually pretty big widescreen 27 inch and up, and can be super sharp 1080P) so 7 players between two tvs running at high resolution isn't such an eye sore.

Spec's say PS3 can run 7 controllers wirelessly & one can plug in via usb to run 8 in total. I think the two tv out thing is genius!!!
2 player battles will no longer be splitscreen, have ya own tv each without system linking,
i still remember playing duke nukem split screen on ps1. you could literally see where your opponent was hiding all the time haha, split screen sucks. dual AV outputs is a brilliant idea!

the controller is awesome a very unique style and the ps3 holds up to 7 controllers! that is the extreme to the highest degree! u got to admit

hwy woudl u have 7 wirelessly...why not 8? seven causes uneven games? sony is mind boggling
