hi i have a big problem with my xbox, i wanted to put a 160 gig HDD in my xbox well that went good and i closed the xbox and started it up suddenly i got a error code 16 i have an aladdin chip and a 1.6 xbox well i tryed to fix my dashboard by using evolution X build 3935 i burned it on cd and put that in my box my chip reacted on it and started the bios from cd i couldnt find an install screen or option so i thought Flash bios was the good one and i just click it without thinking flash means delete.... so now the big problem... normaly When i want to start my mod chip i push the power button 2 sec and than my power button turns orange and starts the mod.... but now because i flashed all my bios my mod wants to start up i get the orange light but it doesnt start the xbox goes off and than searches for the original xbox bios and trys to start that one up but both the bios are gone so i get the error code 16 over and over again did i screw up my chip or board or hdd or something else ?? or can i just throw my xbox out of the window becuase i killed him ? (i do have my old hdd still here and didnt do anything about it) but i just dont know how or iff its possible to get my xbox running again without problems and with the new hdd i also have a network connection to my xbox but it doesnt work because no bios and no settings... please help me,
Try putting the original drive in and see if that cures it. If you didnt do anything to the original drive, It might work, Doesnt hurt to try. I think I'd try that before doing anything else.
well i just installed the old hdd again and my normal xbox bios is loading now but still my chip dont respond same problem put the chip on and it trys to load but stops than loads my original xbox bios dont get any errors now so now i only miss my Chip bios.. anyone know how to get a bios on a aladdin chip ?
