I've had to completely reformat my hd and reinstall windows xp. All my original software was pre-installed so I've had to beg and borrow to reinstall. I can now view clips from the internet but still cannot play dvds. I have nero but think I may need windvd. I've downloaded v6. However, I cant install it as I need a serial key. I cant get that off the internet as each site tells me I've exceeded my download of serials, even though I've not actually downloaded any. Am getting so frustrated. Where do I go from here?

    download shrinkdvd
    download dvd decrypter

both are free programs from the net.

As for nero, go to the [bold]AHEAD WEBSITE[/bold] and download the demo version of nero that is available. This will help with your initial problems and will allow you to burn dvds for a 30 day trial period.I guess you could always buy some original software in the long run.
