goodluck getting a mod. but dont think they will be around for awhile. also you,ll need a blu-ray reader/writer currently around $2500 not to mention at least 25-50 gig free space on your pc hard drive. for one game. more money unless you have that.oh and if you want to save games on your ps3 harddrive pretty sure they will have to be expensive.

The current and next (possibly two) generations of Blu-Ray burners are NOT for use by the average user. They're expensive as hell now, and it's going to stay like that because the burners are basically still on technical demo and they're currently meant for use by some businesses and serious enthusiasts.

I figure that Blu-Ray burners will become much like the DVD Burners and CD Burners that came before. The prices will probably start at 600 dollars, drop down to 400, 300, and probably stay around there for a while, much like with DVD burners. If Blu-Ray is released to the more general public within the end of this year, then I figure that by the end of next year, they'll probably be affordable enough for more people to start buying them.

The console will be stupid money (as usual) so I'll wait a year before getting it (I'm not paying £300 for a console!!).

The games are always £50 when the console is new, wait a year for the games to become pi$$ easy to make and common and the price will drop to the usual £40.

It's a typical "new gen-console" release, everything is expensive at first then they get slightly cheaper.

if u go to the shop Game/Electronic Botique the new releases r still £35-£40 however in asda/walmart u can get them for less than £30. so it does depend on where u buy.

i dont no how much tax they put on in the US but in the UK it is 17.5% tax.
