is this the only game you've had this happen on? what game is it? you have the "iso" folder placed on the root directory(the first window that pops up when plugging the usb cable into the comp..should have the "PSP" folder on this window too)?..you have dvd looking icon placed in the "iso" folder? what is the size of the iso image? what fastloader are you using? i'll check back here in a lil' while...good luck ;)

@cupc4kes & Liquid06,
there are a few ways to play this game..i'm assuming you want to play it with the iso image being extracted down to the "PSP_GAME" folder and "UMD_DATA.BIN" file...first off you will need the Wab Launcher for this one as this is the only way i've found that it will completely load up, is with this launcher(other than the iso loaders)....change the name from "PSP_GAME TO "PUZZLBBL"...it should load up...good luck and let us know if you need anymore help..holla ;)
P.S. This game will also boot up if you have the ISO image file of this game and FastLoader....

you lost me on that one...the only two i've used are wipeout pure and the Tenchi No Mon Browser....you can get it at the link in my sig(just go to the downloads section) or you can google it...i prefer the wipeout pure browser, b/c the tenchi no mon browser isn't secure(meaning someone could hijack it and overclock your psp...till it fries)...good luck and let us know how it turns out, holla ;)

hey man...glad to see you got it straightened out...if you want to be able to run more than one game off of your mem stick..i would suggest using FastLoader(my personal preference is FastLoader V0.5d..it's not the newest version, but i like it..plus i have a guide on the first page of this forum on how to use it) just do a google search for it or you can go to any psp site, you can also find it in the link on my sig...WAB Launcher was a great first launcher to play around with but humma kavula came out with the FastLoader and it only needs the iso image file(instead of the "PSP_GAME" folder and "UMD_DATA.bin" file)plus the iso image file is sometimes just a shy smaller and their are iso shrinkers out now for most of the games, not all though...also you can now rename the iso files to what you want and you can put as many games on your psp as you want, long as you have enough memory for it...if you don't have the iso image file and you just have the "PSP_GAME" folder and "UMD_DATA.BIN", don't worry...i'll have a guide up for you on how to revert it back to an iso image file, just it will have to be later...too tired(just got off of work, sorry) good luck and holla ;)

alright i promised you a guide on how to convert the "PSP_GAME" folder and "UMD_DATA.BIN" file back to an ISO image file so here it is:
you will need a program called "VcdromX"...you can google it or you can get it from the link in my sig....you WILL need this program...download it and once you extract it...look for an icon called "VcdromX"...(I'm going to use Fifa as an example in this guide) open this file up and a window will pop up on the screen type in "C:\Fifa" and make sure that the "FCD" button is checked...now click the left "??" on the bottom..now go to the folder where you have the "PSP_GAME" and "UMD_DATA.BIN" files\folders and DRAG them over to the right side of the "VcdromX" window...once this is done go to the top left corner and look for a box marked "??F", click on this and then go down to where it says "????(B)" click on this..a window will pop up click "OK"...this will start to convert this file to an ".FCD" file...now once this is done go back to the top left corner and to the "??F" box..this time go down to where it says "??????C"..this will bring up another pop up window click on the folder icon on the top box and go to the C:\ and look for the file labeled "Fifa.FCD"...now click open or double click on that file and it will put that name in the pop up window that showed up...now click on the top right box ( next to the folder looking icon) labeled "??" and it will start to create an iso image file for you...you will have to close this window out because it will stay stuck on 100% once finished..but once it reaches 100% it is ok to close it...
now just use the iso image in the FastLoader you have and enjoy.. ;)

did you get the newest version of fastloader? for some reason i've seen people's games freeze up with the newest FastLoader(that's why i stick with the FastLoader V0.5d)...you're putting the iso image file in the "ISO" folder, NOT the "ISOMISC" folder, and you have the "ISO", "ISOMISC" folders on the Root Directory(the one that pops up when you plug the psp into your comp...the one with the PSP folder on it) and you have the "Fastloader" and "Fastloader%"(has to be in that order) folders in the PSP\GAME folder?(to get to the psp\game directory: double click on the PSP folder then double click on the GAME folder)...what game are you trying? what version of FastLoader do you have? what's the size of the iso image file? good luck...let us know how it turns out...holla ;)

tried ver.5 and 6, tried lumines, puzzle bobble, coded arms, dead to rights, wipeout, all in ISO. everything is where it should be, puzzle bobble worked but i had the psp_game folder for puz bob on the ms anyway, all these games i also tried with wab launcher as psp_game files. they all work but freeze as they start to load, apart from lumines and puzzle bobble.iso file sizes vary, wipeout was around 240mb, dead to rights 150mb, thanks again for your help.

dead 2 rights should be around 184mb...wipeout is the correct size...hmm....i know there are patches for the wab launcher that will get you pass the loading screen, but the iso loader still freezing is puzzling...i don't think it's the progz unless you came across a bunch of corrupted ones...so on the iso loader you are getting pass the "initialisizing" screen and going directly into the game, then it freezes? what version of firmware do you have?
on making the iso file...you made sure you had the "FCD" was checked and you dragged BOTH the "PSP_GAME" folder and the "UMD_DATA.BIN" file into the "VcdromX" program?

im using ver1.50 firmaware, and im getting past insert any umd------initializing-----then now loading, dead to rights just has a red screen, then it goes white, then grey. i dunno if i had a more recent version of vcdx than you but some of the instructions you gave didnt match up with me using the programme, i dragged and dropped the psp_game folder and the umd bin file into the programme and directly converted it to an iso file. was it impotant that i converted to fcd first? thanks for the help evnflow.

yeah you should have converted it to fcd first then converted it too iso..never tried it without doing it...where did you get your version of Vcdromx?...hmm other than that i can only think it might have been a bad dump...by any chance are you trying to shrink these iso images? good luck ;)

i started to think it was my thug2 umd that could be the problem, i might try it with another just incase. i got vcdromx from some freeware site i think, to be honest all roms i downloaded have the name of the game +launcher then in brackets a website name, and theyre all from the same site, i wont name it but maybe all the roms are dodgy(i have all the games on umd anyway as it happens ;) ) i'll try the version you suggested evnflow(vcdromx) but all i tried were definite iso files and recognised by fastloader. im only gonna try this for a couple more days then let it go, thankfully there aint that much out on psp i really want at the minute, i just like messing about with stuff. many thanks evnflow, you have been brilliant, i'll let you know tomorrow how i get on. thanks
