i NEVER ONCE SAID that more pipelines = better graphics, its the GAMES ENGINE that are the graphcis, the GPU+CPU are what powers it.
the only graphics the GPU affects in terms of direct quality is the quality of HDR, AA and AF. (antialiasing, and anisotropic filtering).
ive explained it 2 many times, in terms of graphical quality ATI XENON is better. due to its 64 bit architeccture (compared to RSX's 32 bit architecture) it can have AA (adaptive AA by the way - sweet!)enabled along with FULL PROPER HDR LIGHTING, and it work properly.
the RSX CANNOT (repeat CANNOT DO THIS) because of its shoddy 32 BIT ARCHITECTURE. so no matter what you think it CANNOT KOOKOO, no comeback there im afraid.
360 wins in graphicsl quality, and as charza, me and even u admitted, the 360's Xenon has more performance (therefore its more powerful) so it can have all the enchancements turned on with a SWEET FRAMERATE to accompany it.
most new xbox games are a framerate of about 35FPS on average when playing which is SH*T if ur a PC games, because 40 FPS is regarded as *playable* (sarcasitcally), i think 40FPS is shit, 50FPS min is good but not 40 (50 runs nicely). 60+ is smooth, (like luxury cream lol).

and i noticed that u went back to ur old point (OUTDATED ONE) by claiming that i said more pipelines + better graphcis, which i NEVER said once. this proves u r on ur toe ends with staying power in this technological fight. u arnt right with your words.

Dude the rsx has 128bit pixel precision. not 32. 32 is dated, the sega and ps1 had it. Not even ps2 was 32bit.

by the way i have a v1 xbox 360, and do you know what makes most of the noise, not the fans, its the BLOODY DVD DRIVE, ARGH!.

sounds like a flamin spinning G-force test machine that pilots sit in and when spinning it makes there face look like play-doe (LOTS of decibels with them). HOWEVER, once you start playing the disk slows down a lot and its moderately quiet, its ok noise wise i suppose.
plus mine has 0% HEAT ISSUES, mine runs suite cool suprisingly, i thought it would be hot like my overclocked and overvolted (1.6) 3.84 GHZ prescott cose CPU (intel) from 3.2 (at stock specs). WHOA now THAT IS HOT even with a awesome heatsink.

my 360 is running perfect, no problems at all.

All these xbox freaks will be eating their words once the PS3 comes out. It is no doubt the better machine, will no doubt have the better games, the only question is, what will they do with their on-line? If they can come close to x-box live, MS is screwed.

Microsoft had its chance to get a headstart but are blowing it. Malfunctioning consoles, no supply, etc.

If the lil ol PSP can have games looking that good already, just wait until the PS3 comes out. It will blow away the 360 and PCs as well.

I cannot believe you are arguing which console is better all by technical specifications. You can be sure that ALL nextgen consoles will be stunning cool.

But from my point of view, it is all related to *the games*.

And for me - as I am living in western europe - it is an easy choice. The japanese gaming scene has evolved in a completle other direction than the western gaming scene. Somebody said: "There won't be Mario on XBOX 360". So ok, for gods sake, who cares? It's Mario! Maybe it's fun for some oriental kiddies but be honest, how old are you?

Uhm, ok, dunno, said I didn't want to talk about technical specifications but here I go :o) NVIDIA (the biggest supplier and one of the (two) best producers) of graphics chips did the XBOX graphics chip. Now ATI (the other big player) does the Graphics chips for the XBOX 360. Uhm, didn't hear the word Sony till now. You can be sure that the XBOX 360 graphics chip will be equivalent to the PS3 chip.

One last point: Each time someone is talking PRO XBOX there is another dude saying "M$ FANBOY". I think this is really really ridiculous. You MAY be a SONY-FANBOY but you have to be ashamed to be a Microsoft Fanboy? And you write M$ (concentrate on the $$-sign, it is no letter though but it is funny //sarcasm off). sony is sitting in a hole right now and it wont recover unless people want their system, so they need to advertise alot and show its goodness. theyy also need alot of great games. if sony didnt care at all i dont think the would have put so much money into it.

ms on the other hand, msg stock should be in the shithole right not so much because its got bill gates just throwing his endess money at it. each 360 cost 800 to make. thats an INSANE loss, and not worth the product. but gates doesnt mind as long as he can kill sonys dominance and wipe them off. this is another reason im lean toward sony.

There are two aswome consoles out there and if you turn a blind eye to one (like some of you are to the 360) becuase you have respect for the other console then you are a bit stupid.

If you like your computer games then research alot on both console's and not just the one. This way you can make a fair comparison and make the right dessision on what console is the one for you. This mindless negativity towards a console becuase you have grown a love for a company is quite stupid.
