Softmodded box No idea what dash

the person who's box it is actually paid someone £30 to soft mod!! lol if i can get the game off someone and a card can you just reload it that easy and it'll over write everything?

so can you load the softmod straight off a memory card in the game? i have normally saved it from the card to the hard drive first and loaded it from there.

read this tutor, you will understand why. Hotswap, you can rename the xboxdash.xbe file. This is another way to fix it.

 

Do hotswap, it will save your money. Plus splinter and Action Replay maybe not work now.

 

i will give that a go dude, thanks for finding that for me. i borrowed splinter cell and a memory card but has taken me nearly 2 hours of rushing around :-( if they fail i will do the hotswap.

Where are you at now? If you borrow the splinter cell, you can give it a try first before doing hotswap.
