I unlocked my W810i (r4ea031 firmware) with standard usb cable (dcu-60)using a patch I got here.
patches for lots of sony ericsson phones there actually
like w200 w700 w800 k750 k510 w300 z550.

basicaly you copy the text (in between quotes below) into a .txt file and change the extention to .vkp the flash to phone using a program called setool2lite.very simple,best thing is its free!! go to link above for more info

check what firmware you have before you flash,its at your own risk,also if you reflash your firmware for any reason you will have to apply patch again

can you tell me how you did it? i have tried and it did not work. i have r4ea031 also and the phone is locked to orange uk. i have downloaded everything needed and also used SEUS to upgrade to r4ea031 but it still does not work.

Hi I've been trying to unlock my Sony Ericsson W810i phone AT&T provider and these steps worked for me these are steps I took * left * * Left and then hidden screen will come choose Network with Locked icon and will ask for NCK# enter the no..you are good to go.

yes but as said many times by now:
EVERY phone has unique unlock codes based on the IMEI AND on the locks, every phone has 5 locks from which usually 1 or 2 locks are locked, and every lock has it's own unique unlock code again.

Also this has been repeated many times:
NOBODY will give you unlock code for Sony Ericsson for free. Have you seen anybody on this whole forum who got free code? No there is nobody. Best chance to get a free code is call your provider and ask for it. Otherwise paying is only option (for unlock code).

You can also flash your phone using free cracked software but that is not really safe for your phone....
