If u speak japanese it could be fun i guess. The fighting is decent, but there are a couple mini games that arnt playable because of language discrepency. 6.5/10 in my book, could do without it.

DBZ blows naruto out of the water......Gets kinda boring around like chapter 5 but its still the best fighter on the psp currently.

yeah i cant put it down tryna get a z in evry level only 5 more 2 go but dese 1s are REALLY difficult!!

ow maybe i know the problem my firmware is 1.5 so i need to upgrade to 2.0?

but if i upgrade my firmare from 1.5 to 2.0 can i still play downloaded games like Bleach Heat The Soul with DH?

isos are on fw1.50 ONLY for the moment. i dont c why bein on 1.50 should b a problem since most isos work on 1.50 now with devhook.

this is the fix i used to make naruto work with run umd.

then follow these instructions and it will work

What you do is put The "x" and "Narutonp" folder in the root of your PSP Memory stick. Obviously put "Narutonp" and "Narutonp%" in your game folder

Now use a program like ISOblaster or UMDGEN and extract the files from the iso. Once that is done do what the read me says ( put ICON0.PNG, PARAM.SFO, PIC1.PNG, and SND0.AT3 into the Narutonp folder that is in the Root of your PSP and then move everything in the USERDIR of the extracted ISO into the USERDIR of the Narutonp EXCEPT the "Module" folder... whatever you do... don't replace the Module folder). Then
go to your game folder start up the naruto launcher.

If you've done all this it should work...

of course you need to have version 1.5

Nice thing is that devhook will allow u to play game like Naruto while still be able to compress them. Previously with Run UMD, u had play the name its its natural form, iremeber Syphon Filter being like 1.5 gigs!!

Hi...i have juz download naruto portable and tried running on devhook v0.41, however, it freezes after the PSP startup screen and shutsdown itself after awhile, the copy of my naruto is the untouched ISO, what needs to be done? does this iso need to be patched and if so where can i find it? From the posts in this thread there is a fix but it is for the runUMD loader, but can i use this fix to patch the files and rebulit the ISO to be used in devhook?

@titan, try using prx's from any 1.5 game this should work, seeing ur iso was not patched to work to work on runUMD.

ok i know you guys told everone how to work naruto over and over again but i stll cant get this game to work ive been trying to do this for 6hour straight now and still have not made any progress i think i may be using the wrong prx files to run the game im using mega man maverick hunter x trail pxr to run it if im wrong could somebody please help me out and oh yeh i know you said that i can use battle fronts pxr but where can i obtain the pxrs from that game

Mega Man prx's wont cut it, thats why i said use 1.r prx's. I know u can find battlefront 2 prx's in one of the psp forums.

i am so confused .... realy i don't understand it :( wth is a x folder do u need to make it
this is how i did it:

1.connected my psp with a usb cabel to my comp
2.i putted dh in it
3.i putted my naruto iso in my MAP ISO
4.i went to GAME and putted DEVHOOK,% and dh_instal %
5.i start up my umdemulatorv.08 i open the game in startmenu
i go to the startmenu and used my button to the game and i see a pic of the game and sound.
6.then i used devhook firmware installer
7.finaly i used DEVHOOK0.40 sample launcher it automatically said that i needed to Upgrade to version 2.6 .........

ok i readed this topic and the other and there is Daxiso or whatever its called i dont got it and where in the world do u find umd gen 2.0 or 2.1 on psp-hacks.com

This is not necessary, havent used this and havent had a trouble with any game. This also only works if u have a .PSAR file to dump

i am trying it with dh . umdemulator doesnt works . with dh,% with the , i mean both . what do u do with the umdgen? u got to put the isofile in the map ISO right?

this is really weird when i open DH and i press 0 to start it automatically goes to the startmenu
